Vocational rehabilitation


What is Vocational Rehabilitation and who administers it in Missouri?
 
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) helps persons with physical or mental disabilities become employed. It is administered by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, which is part of the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The federal and state governments jointly fund VR and one of the benefits is educational assistance.
 

Whom should I contact if I think I might be eligible for VR benefits?
 
The State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation maintains 26 district offices throughout the state. The district office addresses and phone numbers are located on the Missouri Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Web site.
